Chasing Sunbeams

                   
Dedicated to Cliff and Wai Jia, for the most inspiring love story I have ever heard.

I was looking for a new project after finishing a video, wondering when and where I would find my next subject of inspiration. Then one day I was at Katong waiting for the bus, and decided to walk upstream to a bus stop where there was shade and seats because it was just a very hot day and the bus stop I was at had no seats. It was there I bumped into Cliff and Wai Jia, meeting Cliff for the first time. Wai Jia told me that they were looking for someone to do a video for their wedding and asked me if I would be interested. If I ever knew God was telling me something, it was now. I grabbed the opportunity with eager hands.

The filming was done in 3 afternoons over 2 months (due to clashing schedules etc). Each time the weather threatened to be gloomy/was gloomy already. But every time we reached the location the clouds parted and we were greeted with the magical sunbeams that you see in the final video. Honestly at the start I had doubts that I could produce anything worthy of a wedding ceremony. I had as good as no idea what the final video would look like or how to get there. But I just provided the hands, God did the magic- and here is the video I'm so happy!

He works in amazing ways, I dare not underestimate the ability of his Love to do amazing things.
